Workshop meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengajarkan literasi numerasi

Numeracy literacy skills play a crucial role in establishing a strong mathematical understanding in students. Therefore, enhancing teachers' instructional abilities in the context of numeracy literacy is a key aspect in advancing mathematical education. This article documents the results of a workshop specifically designed to strengthen the teaching skills of elementary school teachers in the aspect of numeracy literacy. The workshop adopts an interactive and collaborative approach, including in-depth discussions, case studies, and practical training. Throughout the workshop, participants engage in a series of activities focused on reinforcing teaching methods that support the development of numeracy literacy. They also have the opportunity to share experiences and successful teaching strategies implemented in the classroom. Evaluation results from the workshop show a significant improvement in understanding the importance of mastering numeracy literacy skills in students by 70%, skills in formulating numeracy literacy problems by 60%, and the ability to implement numeracy literacy skills in learning by 55%.
