Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for Journal of Compacta Community Empowerment (JCCE):

  1. Manuscript Preparation:

    • Manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
    • Use clear and concise language, adhering to proper grammar and spelling.
    • Follow the journal's template and formatting guidelines provided on the journal's website.
    • Ensure that the manuscript is well-organized, with appropriate sections including abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.

  2. Format and Systematics of Articles Writting

    • A4 paper with page margin, top 3 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 2 cm.
    • The manuscripts are arranged in 1.5 spaced one-column formats, except abstract / abstract and the list of libraries is arranged 1 space.
    • Right and left right paragraph margin (justify). Number of pages maximum 12 pages.
    • TITLE should be specific, clear, concise, informative, describe the substance or content of writing and interesting to read (title no more than 20 words in Indonesian article or 15 words in English article with Times New Roman font 14).
    • The author's name must be complete without a title (Multiple authors must be separated by a comma (,).
    • AFFILIATION The author is provided with the name of the institution (study program, university and email address for all author with Times New Roman 12).
    • ABSTRACT. Use Times New Roman 12 for abstract or abstract words, while abstract or abstract contents use Times New Roman 12. Abstract English is placed first for manuscripts written in Indonesian, followed by abstracts in Indonesian or vice versa for manuscripts written in English. The abstract contains the subject matter, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study / study. The abstract is written continuously in one paragraph, without reference, without acronyms, and without footnote. Abstracts are written not in mathematical form, questions, and conjectures. Abstract is not a copy-paste result of a sentence in the script. The abstract contains research results and written not more than 200 words in English and 250 words in Indonesian.
    • KEYWORDS while the contents of keywords (Times New Roman 12) at least 3 words in accordance with the variables.
    • SITUATION ANALYSIS contains background, theory and goal studies (Times New Roman 12 and maximum 2 pages).
    • SOLUTION AND TARGET contains an outline of the solution to the problem, time, place of dedication and target (Times New Roman 12 and maximum 2 pages).
    • IMPLEMENTATION METHOD is a series of work in the implementation of devotion, ranging from how the implementation of data collection  to data analysis (Times New Roman size 12 and maximum 2 page).
    • RESULTS AND OUTCOMES described to answer the results of the implementation of service comprehensively according to solutions and targets (Times New Roman size 12 and maximum 3 page).
    • CONCLUSION is an overview of the devotion that has been done (Times New Roman 12 and 1 page).
    • REFERENCE American Psycological Association (APA) VII Edition.
    • Manuscripts should be in * .doc, and sent to the journal through the online registration system by creating an account at this Open Journal Systems (OJS) [click REGISTER if you do not have any accounts; or click LOG IN if you already have an account];
    • All author, name and identity must be correct and completed by the corresponding author: email; affiliates; and a brief biography of each author (in the 'Statement Bio'). [If this text was written by two or more authors, please click the 'Add Author' in step 3 of the 'ENTER METADATA' in the process of filing and then enter the data of each author.];
    • Biographer (in column Statement Bio) written in narrative form, including the author's full name, place and date of birth, educational qualification / information ranging from bachelor degree (S-1) to the level of education the most, an affiliate in which the writer at work, phone numbers , and email address;
    • All correspondence, information and decisions to be submitted manuscript with the email written in text and / or email used for the submission. Present status can be checked at the entrance to the Open Journal Systems;
  3. Originality and Plagiarism:

    • Authors should ensure that their work is original and has not been published previously.
    • Properly cite and reference any sources or works that have influenced the manuscript.
    • Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate rejection of the manuscript.

  4. Manuscript Submission:

    • Submit manuscripts electronically through the journal's online submission system.
    • Include a cover letter briefly introducing the manuscript and its significance.
    • Provide accurate and complete author information, including affiliations and contact details.

  5. Ethical Considerations:

    • Authors should comply with ethical guidelines and principles in conducting research involving humans or animals.
    • If applicable, obtain necessary approvals from relevant ethics committees.
    • Disclose any conflicts of interest that may arise from the research or its funding sources.

  6. References and Citations:

    • Use a consistent and appropriate citation style (APA) throughout the manuscript.
    • Ensure that all cited works are included in the reference list and vice versa.
    • Provide accurate and complete bibliographic information for each cited work.

  7. Figures and Tables:

    • Include figures and tables that are necessary for understanding the research findings.
    • Ensure that figures and tables are clear, properly labeled, and cited within the text.
    • Obtain necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted figures or tables.

  8. Manuscript Review and Revision:

    • Authors should be responsive to reviewer comments and address them appropriately.
    • Clearly indicate revisions made in response to reviewer feedback in the revised manuscript.
    • Provide a detailed response to each reviewer comment, explaining how the concerns have been addressed.

  9. Copyright and Licensing:

    • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

  10. Open Access Policy:

    • JCCE supports open access publishing. Authors are encouraged to consider open access options and discuss any associated fees or charges.

  11. Publication Charges:

    • JCCE may require authors to pay publication charges or article processing fees.

These guidelines are intended to ensure the integrity and quality of publications in the Journal of Compacta Community Empowerment (JCCE). Authors are encouraged to thoroughly review and adhere to these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.
