Pelatihan merancang problem based learning berbasis HOTS dan ajaran Tamansiswa bagi guru

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed new challenges in distance learning to provide meaningful and enjoyable education for students. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and the principles of Tamansiswa education can be a solution to these challenges, allowing teachers to develop 21st-century skills in students. MA Miftahunnajah, as a partner, faced several issues in implementing HOTS-based learning, providing 21st-century skills, and incorporating Tamansiswa principles during the pandemic. Therefore, this community service aims to assist the partner in overcoming these challenges by designing PBL based on HOTS and Tamansiswa principles for teachers in the partner school and beyond. The community service activities are conducted virtually, including training sessions, discussions, and Q&A sessions. The effectiveness of these activities is evaluated through an evaluation questionnaire. The results of this community service demonstrate that training in designing PBL based on HOTS and Tamansiswa principles is highly beneficial for teachers in creating innovative future learning experiences, enabling students to become independent learners.
